Unlisted is operated by Next Aura Labs Inc.("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our job alert service at shelter.money/jobs.
2. Information we collect
- Email address - used for authentication (magic links) and delivering job alerts.
- Resume data - your uploaded PDF is parsed to extract skills, experience, education, and job preferences. The parsed data is stored; the original PDF is not retained after processing.
- Search preferences - roles, keywords, locations, remote preference, and salary expectations you provide.
- Usage data - email delivery logs, search result history, and interaction data to improve match quality.
3. How we use your information
- Job matching - your resume and preferences are used to search niche job boards and rank results using AI.
- Email delivery - we send weekly job match alerts and occasional product updates.
- Service improvement - aggregated, anonymized data helps us improve search quality and source coverage.
4. Third-party services
We use the following third-party services to operate Unlisted:
- Convex - database and backend infrastructure.
- Google Gemini - AI-powered resume parsing and job ranking.
- Firecrawl - web search for job listings across niche boards.
- Resend - transactional email delivery.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
5. Data retention
Your account data, parsed resume, and search preferences are retained as long as your account is active. Job search results are retained for up to 90 days. You can request account deletion by contacting us.
6. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of your data by emailing us.
- Unsubscribe from emails at any time via the one-click unsubscribe link in every email.
- Request a portable export of your data by emailing us.
7. Cookies
We use a single session token stored in your browser's local storage for authentication. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. We do record privacy-friendly, first-party product events such as page visits, resume upload steps, email sends, and job opens so we can improve search quality and the onboarding funnel.
